Another book by Olsson that was well-written and a pleasure to read. As the main character searches for his history, we are taken to WWII Poland. This story was about one man's journey to discover who he is - descended from Jews who fled Poland - the theme is not new -but the story is fresh and far from hackneyed. It's interesting also to read this from the perspective of someone whose history is between New Zealand and Poland.
