From the first three sentences [Dying is easy; living is the hard part. Homicide Detective Jacob Striker knew this too well. Although 'surviving' seemed a better word than 'living'.] to the end, this fast-paced page-turner keeps your attention -- and keeps you wondering whether how the survivors will cope. // Exciting first effort from an active homicide detective from Vancouver, BC (where the story is centered). // Looking forward to the second book in the series (four to date).

The story got off to a roaring start and kept going right until the end. I had trouble putting it down. Loved it.
