Two very different creatures enjoy a day together when they happen to cross paths. As they spend time playing with each other, the perceptions of their extreme differences melt away, revealing all the shared traits they have. Certainly, a polar bear and human cannot do exactly the same things, and it is quite comic to see them trying, or coming up with clever counteractions. Following this experience, comes a raging storm, and it is at this moment that their new friendship is of greatest benefit, for their unique qualities allow them to save one another. Softly sketched pencil lines and minimalistic blue and grey shades on white draws a warm, friendly feel out of the arctic's cold environment. This design also captures the ferocious nature and simple beauty of the north. This title is well worth picking up for both its exquisite illustrations and touching message.
