Yet when Mark realizes his dreams, Penmarric only brings a legacy of conflict, jealousy, infidelity, and betrayal.

Add a CommentI am so happy I finally finished this book. I lost interest in this book during the first part and never got back into it ... it was a chore to read. It's a family saga (which I normally enjoy) that spans 3 generations told by 5 characters. I finally realized that they were recounting one tedious episode after another and that there were no likeable characters to embrace.
