As well as this being a good murder mystery, it was so refreshing to see the heroine as a mature woman with generous proportions hooking herself the hot guy. The heroine Skye is over thirty, with more than a couple extra pounds on her frame, as so many women can relate to. Yet she is confident and sexy and comfortable in her own skin. We see enough of the petite Barbie doll women in books. Time for a real woman to come to the forefront and get business taken care of. Bravo Ms.Swanson!

This series is really a good read. I like the characters quite a bit....quirky family and certainly not all lovable.
