Stanley's Party may have come to an end ... but our favourite party animal's back and ready to roll! Stanley knows he's not supposed to leave the yard, but he's dog-tired of it. So when he discovers a way out ... he's gone! A few escapes later, five dogs are on the lam. And with Stanley in the lead, they're off to have the kind of fun you can't find in a yard -- chasing tomcats, sampling tasty garbage and soaking fire hydrants. Then, late at night, atop the steepest hill in town, they come upon a mysterious wheeled ... thing. And before you can say "Hot dog!" Stanley's off on the ride of a lifetime! Ages 3-7

Now this is a fantastic picture book. It's got great colourful illustrations, a wonderfully silly and just fun story, and some laugh out loud bits that kids (and adults) will enjoy. Loved it!

When Stanley the dog gets bored in his yard he goes exploring with four canine friends and finds trouble, of course. Soon he finds he is going faster than any dog has gone before on a lost skateboard that smells like feet. When his friends find other modes of transportation, the wild ride starts revving up. What leads him to his yard and the end of a night to remember brings Stanley to one conclusion - the world is a lot bigger than he ever thought. But can one adventure be enough?

And away they all ran, looking for the kind of fun you can't find in a yard. When they found some tasty garbage, they ate it. When they passed a fancy car, they soaked its tires. When they came across a tomcat, they chased it up a tree.
