I enjoyed both the art and the story. It leaned a little heavy on stereotypes for "character development" but it was still a fun story. People learned and changed by the end. And the art is great. Fun character designs.

A great, adventurous read for young adults and older middle grades. I loved the pirates! It was also interesting that oyster wars really did happen in Maryland and Virginia.
